Boyer Finishes 2011 Season with Win; Looks Forward to 2012! |

Boyer and the Denton Boyer Racing team finished their 2011
season win a $1,500 win at Dog Hollow Speedway giving him a
total of three wins on the year at Marion Center Speedway (2)
in Marion Center, PA and Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown,
PA.
‘We had a pretty solid season, ‘Boyer said from his garage in
Punxsutawney, PA, ‘we just need to race more.
The weather at the beginning of the season held
everyone up for a while and we had a few other |

personal activities going on throughout
the summer that kept us away from the track on occasion.
We’d like to be closer to racing 40 times a season, this year
we only had 28 starts.
Everyone wants to get better and racing more often
helps you get better.’‘I

Boyer Captures First Win of 2011 Season at Marion
Center

Punxsutawney, PA (June 21, 2011)
Denton Boyer and the Denton
Boyer Racing team captured their first win of the 2011 season
this past Saturday, June 18 at Marion Center Speedway in
Marion Center, PA after a strong sixth place finish at
Tri-City Speedway in Franklin, PA the day before.
Boyer took the lead at the start of Marion Center’s 25-lap
feature event and held off a hard charging Gregg Satterlee and
the previous week’s winner, Dane Laraway, to snag his first
win of the 2011 season.
‘Starting up front definitely helped,’ Boyer said,
‘It’s always a battle out there with those guys, they race
hard so winning at Marion Center is never easy.’
